Stekelenburg Wants To Win Trophies With AS Roma

Maarten Stekelenburg was officially introduced as a new player AS Roma. Netherlands national team goalkeeper was claimed to have ambitions to win the trophy with the Giallorossi.
Stekelenburg changed clubs this summer. AS Roma bought from Ajax Amsterdam with cost around six million euros.

"I would like to start by saying to everybody that I am very happy and proud to be here. Here's what I want. Now, I am looking forward to start the new season, "exclamation Stekelenburg.

"Rome appeared very early in the summer and when they come looking for me, they represent the ideal goal of mine," he said.

"I was here last weekend and got to know the pelatuh Luis Enrique with several new teammates. But, I just started practicing today and I am glad to finally be part of the squad, "added Stekelenburg.

For nine seasons in defense of Ajax, Stekelenburg was won nine trophies. In Rome, this year's 28th goalie also wants to bring his team won.

"My goal is to win trophies with Rome. I hear attraction of other goalkeepers, but I am here and I am happy with it. Forza Roma, "he said.

"I will do my best and try to have a good season. I don't care if I was considered better than any other goalkeeper. The important thing for me is performing great and help my team win, ".
