New Route in Dakar Rally 2012

Dakar rally also known as one of the hardest racing race in the world. Dakar rally on 2012 will take the route of the city of Mar del Plata in Argentina and ended up in the capital of Peru, Lima.
The 33rd Dakar rally will begin inJanuary 1, 2012 and become the fourth in South America, after the race in 2008 was cancelled due to security reasons.

"There will be five stage in Argentina, a five stage in Chile, and the four stage in Peru. Total rally into a 14-day, two days longer than last year, "said Etienne Lavigne, Director of the Paris Dakar rally race, Tuesday (8/11).

During this race in South America was always taking the start and finish in Argentina's capital Buenos Aires. The 2012 race will be followed by the number of participants, comprising 171 cars, 185 motorcycles, 76 truck, and four-wheeled motorcycle, 33.

Defending champion last year Marc Coma of Spain was determined to reclaim the Cup next year's Dakar Rally for motorcycles. For cars, Stephane Peterhansel, won the Dakar rally nine times, back favored along with Carlo Sainz and Giniel De Villiers.
