Some styles of yoga as ashtanga and power yoga is the most powerful compared to the other. Practicing one of this style will help improve your muscle tone. Other styles of yoga such as yoga, which only lyengar focuses on little movement and setting up a more appropriate position, can increase the strength and durability of the body.

A few other styles such as: downward dog, upward dog, and plank, to build upper body strength. This becomes important in a certain age.
