Rooney Was Suspended Three Games

UEFA gives Wayne Rooney suspension for 3 games, for the red card he received against Montenegro. It means Rooney will miss the rest of the European Cup group phase action.

Rooney was given a red card by referee in minutes 74 because kicking Miodrag Dzudovic, in match against Montenegro England final which ended 2-2.

UEFA confirm that Rooney will be absent in the England's next three match. England reserves the right to appeal within three days from the time the decision was issued.

"The UEFA Disciplinary body of supervision and has nonetheless fired three games in the Champions League. He would get a direct red card when the 2012 European Championship qualifying match in Montenegro, last Friday, "wrote UEFA's official website.
