"It
is a bit surprising and very interesting that migraine attacks change
almost the same in all groups, whether doing exercise, medication or
relaxation therapy," says Dr. Varkey, as quoted from MedIndia, Friday
(14/10/2011).
Dr. Varkey speak non-farmakologis
approach this possibility could be an effective option in the treatment
of migraine in patients who do not benefit or do not wish to continue
taking the drug.
"The use of the drug
topiramate could reduce the intensity of the migraine is coming, but in
some people this drug can cause side effects such as numbness, dizziness
and mood of depression. However, these side effects are not found in women in the group relaxation therapy or sports groups, "said Dr. Varkley.
