After three seasons playing in the Serie A competition, John Arne Riise finally returned to the Premier League. The former Liverpool player was signed with Fulham from AS Roma.

Nobody mentioned the amount of money payable Fulham to Rome to obtain a 30-year-old wing. Reportedly, the transfer value of about 1.5 million pounds.

Riise signed with The Cottagers for three years. He would play with his brother, Bjørn Helge Riise, who first settled at Craven Cottage.
