Casey Stoner won the MotoGP United States after winning a duel with Jorge Lorenzo who eventually had to settle for finishing in second position.
Stoner completes the race as much as 32 laps at Laguna Seca, Monday (25/7/2011), with the fastest time record. Repsol Honda Rider was defeated Lorenzo (Yamaha) and Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda).
All three Riders were to start with a nice and smooth. Lorenzo's first successful keeping position, followed by a Stoner and Pedrosa.
However, it quickly got past Stoner and Pedrosa overshadow Lorenzo who continues to lead. Furthermore, the Stoner could continue to stick to Pedrosa, and finally be able to regain his position behind Lorenzo.
With six laps remaining, Stoner displayed aggressive got through Lorenzo to advance to the line finished as the leading Rider.
