Alonso Wins at Silverstone

One more other drivers managed to break the chain of Sebastian Vettel's victory this season. This time it was Fernando Alonso's success, winning the Grand Prix United Kingdom.

In a race held at Silverstone, Sunday (10/7/2011), Alonso wins with not easily. At the start of the race he had difficulty overtaking the duo Red Bull Racing, Vettel and Mark Webber in front.

Even Alonso was fourth position after SAG to passed Lewis Hamilton. However, the crucial moment of the twice world champion that's where the incidence of Vettel in the paddock made Alonso was able to claim the first position.

Of the 28 laps until the checkered flag was hoisted, Alonso managed to maintain the first position and his first victory this season. He completed 52 laps with a time gap of Vettel in second position is 19.9 seconds.

Vettel finally completed the race in second place, followed by Webber in third position. The two had engaged a fierce duel in which Webber barely overtook his partner.

As well as the fight scene takes place in the last laps between Hamilton and Felipe Massa eventually won by Hamilton to seal fourth.

Nico Rosberg, Sergio Perez, Nick Heidfeld, Michael Schumacher and Jamie Alguesuari completes the top ten drivers.
